The Pirates did not need him in this game putting up 299 yards on the ground while their passing game only completed two passes for 79 yards. RB Russell Fay led Pewaukee with 125 yards rushing on 7 carries with 1 touchdown. Derek Watt led all scorers with 3 touchdowns on the night. Thomas Moore had success on the ground; RB
Fraser Ferentz led the Cavaliers with 111 yards and 1 touchdown. Thomas Moore's
passing game struggled throughout this game going 5 for 16 for 72 yards and 3
interceptions. WR Steve Wasilik led with 53 yards on 3 receptions for the
Cavaliers. Thomas Moore will not make the playoffs this season and their final
game will be played at home against South Milwaukee. Whitnall 32 South
Milwaukee 0 Whitnall
handed South Milwaukee their first shutout of this season. The Falcons had 415
total yards compared to the Rockets 102 total yards. RB Sean Graham rushed for
167 yards on 24 carries and reached the end zone four times this game. He
continues to show why he is a top running back in the Woodland Conference this
season. QB Joel Stave, although throwing no touchdowns, looked good throwing
for 186 yards on 9 completions. Stave was able to rush for 36 yards and one
score as the Falcons cruised past the Rockets. Greendale 47
Wauwatosa West 6 Greendale
crushed Tosa West's chances of making it to the playoffs this season. The
Greendale defense led the way in this one, holding the Trojans run game to a
team total of 10 yards. RB Luke Drumel rushed for 128 yards and 1 score in this
game. QB Ernie Valente threw for 139 yards and 3 touchdowns with zero
interceptions. Greendale remains third in the Woodland-Black division and looks
to get a good seed to work with throughout the playoffs this year. Wauwatosa
West had no answer for the Greendale offense, giving up a season high 47 points
to the Panthers. The Trojans will finish
out their season for pride, and with a win this week they can get to over the
.500 mark in conference. Their lone touchdown in this game came from RB Dylan
Crafton on a 45 yard pass from QB Dylan Rogahn. Starting QB Kevin Gorman did
not play in this one still sidelined with injury and his status for the last
game is still unclear. Brown Deer 48 New Berlin
West 26 Brown
Deer had two rushers for over 110 yards against the Vikings. RB Chris Smith
rushed for 148 yards and two scores on 24 carries and teammate Lawrence Rabon
rushed for 113 yards on just six carries also reaching the end zone twice. QB
Brett Youngbeck threw for 102 yards and had two touchdowns. Both touchdowns we
caught by WR Sean Andryauskus, who also added 79 yards receiving. Brown Deer
will need this success to keep rolling as they face up against Eisenhower this
week with the division title at stake. The Vikings answered the Falcon run game with
two of their own backs rushing for over 100 yards as well. RB Steve Vogl ran for 127 yards with two touchdowns and RB Chris
Treptow rushed for 119 yards reaching the end zone once. The loss to Brown Deer
hurt the Vikings but this is not the end of their season. If West can pick up a
win over Greenfield this upcoming game, they may sneak into the playoffs with
an above .500 record. They will need more from their QB Dom Bledsoe who
struggled against Brown Deer throwing for only one touchdown and three
interceptions, one returned for a touchdown. Cudahy 21 Saint
Francis 14 Cudahy
was able to pick up their first win of the season on the road at Saint Francis.
Although not being able to make the playoffs this year, the first win of the
season is always special for a team. RB Cedrick Perkins rushed for 37 yards and
two touchdowns to give the Packers the edge over the Cavaliers. QB James
Hellmich completed 66% of his passes with a season high 131 yards with one
touchdown and no interceptions. Saint
Francis fell to 0-7 in conference with their loss Friday night with their only
win coming against Shorewood/Messmer in their opening game. Saint Francis was
able to shutout the Packer offense in the second half but could not use that to
win the game. RB Keyon Lawson led all rushers with 154 yards and one score on
the night. If the Cavaliers lose to the Trojans this week they will fall
winless in conference in the 2009 season. Eisenhower 48
Greenfield 0 Eisenhower
controlled everything against the Hawks improving to 7-1 and top of the
Woodland-Black divison. The Lions held an offense scoreless for the second time
on the season. RB Tyler only touched the ball five times on the night and two
of those touches were touchdowns leaving him with 27 yards on the night. WR Ian
McKechnie caught four balls for 59 yards with one touchdown and also had a 45-yard
punt return for a score. If the Lions can beat Brown Deer this upcoming game
they will take home a divison title and an 8-1 2009 regular season record. |
